Both of these (grouping and tabular) do not behave right. In
particular, the space that is marked non-breaking is also
non-stretchable. The "tabular" method also puts too much space before
and after the two words, but perhaps that is fixable.
I was surprised that "No line break" seemed to have no effect. I also
tried inserting horizontal spaces, but I couldn't figure out the right
units to use to avoid having to guess the width of a standard space, nor
how to make the space stretchable.
(Or maybe this is not yet implemented, and somebody can point me to the
appropriate place to do it?)
