I know I am not a developer or anything, but before getting rid of LaTeX
dependencies, one needs to have a sufficient implementation of TeXmacs
styles. Anyone who has to write a scientific text, that has to obey to a
set style, will have no problems in finding a LaTex style suitable for
its needs. Anyone who tries to use TeXmacs has no other way than to
export the file to latex and then compile it. It's frustrating! Even
more so when the documentation for creating TeXmacs styles is confusing
at best and inexistent at most!
