I created an enumerated list and put a quotation at each \item

The problem is, I have decided that I dont want my quotations in an
enumerated list and want to delete the enumerated list and simply want a
series of quotes, one per paragraph..

I am having problems deleting the enumerated list environment. How do I
do so?

Delete the "enumerate" environment with A-backspace or C-backspace.

See "Help -> Manual -> Typing simple texts" section 8.2.

You'll have to delete the "item" tags individually.

Thanks for the reference. In desperation, I simply edited the .tm file with a text editor --- worked great!
