You should look at the first page of the help (file welcome.en.tm).
The title of the page ("Welcome to GNU TeXmacs") is surrounded by
two gnu heads which are postscript images. This is precisely what
you need, if I correcty understand you.
This title is done with the macro tmdoc-title, which uses arrays
to assign places to the different elements of the title. You can
find the code of this macro in the file :
<<
src/TeXmacs/packages/documentation/tmdoc-traversal.ts
More or less like that, but more like of the format in this page:
http://www.pantheon.org/areas/heroes/articles.html
(click in the left <-- side the first option; Achilles)
Note the image is beside the piece of text. When the text reachs the bottom end of the image then span the full space of the column
can i do this with src/TeXmacs/packages/documentation/tmdoc-traversal.ts ?
cheers
