Tables which span multiple pages

I couldn't find a thread in the archive which addressed the issue of long
tables.

I have several long tables in a document, which appeal fine in the viewer,
but only the first page of each of these appears when the document is
printed. Is there a workaround for this? I'm assuming this is a known bug.
