I am sure that answer is no but is there any difference between the following
two?
The first one was typed using \math <enter> to go into math mode.
The second one was done using the $ key.
The effect is exactly the same (I also can see that the math macro is nothing
more than a with|mode|math from std-markup.ts).
The question is: Why do we want to have two way of doing the same
thing---both ways are equally easy or hard to remember.
