these items would immediately improve the navigability tremendously.

1. word jump
2. select text with word jump
3. "home" and "end" to jump the cursor from line border to line
border, instead of paragraph border to paragraph border.
4. delete words

I understand most of these would be helpful because of the way most
people including me are trained to work in a certain way on windows
and then linux.
