This line can be safely deleted. It was used for debugging, and slipped
into the released version by mistake. By the way, it was removed in recent
versions of TeXmacs, starting from 1.0.5.8, I think.

This is difficult: I guess, changes of C++ code responsible for sessions
are required. The latest input prompt has already been written, and
TeXmacs does not remember it. Now you want TeXmacs to write it again, at
the beginning of the line the user has just edited and pressed enter. From
where TeXmacs can know it? I agree that this would be reasonable (by the
way, then the user will see two identical input line numbers after
re-executing an old line).
