But is that realy all?? It isn't what I'm expect. The only difference
seems to be the font size.
What is to do to get a real slideshow, e.g.
- on the hole display ( If I choose "view -> Presentation mode" I
don't have the hole display; the text is only on the right side, the
left third is empty),
- with the possibility of breaks,What do you call a "break" ?
- turn to the next slide, not scroll mode? You should insert your slides inside a Switch
environment, to do this use Insert->Fold->Switch->Standard
(or Screens), and Insert->Fold->Switch->Add branch before
(of after) to add new pages in the switch. Once some
pages have been added, use Shift-F10 / Shift-F11 to
go to the Previous/Next page.
To summarize : one can create a set of pages that can be
viewed one after the other using the Switch feature. One
can then go to Presentation mode to show them full-screen,
one after the other. As far as I know, no special effects
are available.
On the other hand, one nice thing is that your switches
remain included inside the full TeXmacs environment. Thus
if you want to interactively type something during the
presentation (i.e., using TeXmacs as a board), or carry
on an interactive calculation using a CAS, you can do
it ; as far as I know, it is not possible to do this
under Acrobat or under Powerpoint.
Best, Henri
