In a new .tm file, when I do

Insert -> Table -> Plain Tabular

and enter something in the table. Next if I do

Insert -> Page insertion -> Footnote

gives the footnote number as the superscript. But then texmacs is
unable to display the text in the foot note. Is this a bug or a
feature? Should I report it?

Using texmacs 1.0.6 which comes with Debian unstable.
