As far as I remember, some months ago, there were some discussions
about doing a tool for literate programming (one can have a look in
the mailing list archives).
As far as I am concerned, I lost interest for this project and don't
plan to work on it at mid term. But I don't think people were holding
their breath while waiting for me. :-)

More seriously, this kinds of project
is for sure an interesting direction
for extending TeXmacs.
