No, it is not a problem of your computer, but a bug in the applescript.

At least you should consider the patch for  intel  macs for the main tree.

There will be no other version supported than Panther. The linker of

No, I do not think so. Or to be more precise one just has to adjust some 
scheme code but
nothing in the C++ part.

My real problem is how to deal with this fonts and how to incoporate
fondu into the applescript in a better way, than OpenOffice does.
(OpenOffice simply converts every font and copies it into the app-package)

My idea was that the user could choose which fonts to convert for the 
use with texmacs from some dialog.

Yes, this true. My idea was that basic command line tasks like printing 
or converting could be done without
opening X11 by just clicking some file requesters in the aqua enviroment.

Unfortunately, I was too busy to work on this the last months. BTW, I 
think it is incredible that you have time
for TeXmacs besides your mathematical projects and your family. Are you 
sure, that you are only one person ;-)
