Hi all,

Because Dan Martens has no time to maintain the WinTeXmacs distribution,
we have decided to create a CygTeXmacs distribution, which is as easy
to install as WinTeXmacs, but which uses Cygwin in the background.
The idea is that

  1) A first installation requires more effort
     (59Mb download, 128Mb install for my first try).
  2) Later upgrades will be distributed separately.
  3) Maintaining cost will be much lower,
     because we are really on a Unix system.

I made a first version available at

  ftp://ftp.texmacs.org/pub/TeXmacs/cygwin/CygTeXmacs.exe
