Hello,

is there any known way to apply a footnote to the caption of a floating 
object environment e.g big-figure? When trying to do that only a new 
number appears next to the caption, but not at the bottom of the current 
document/page. So I have no chance to enter any content for that 
footnote. Workaround (for now) is to place it next to the figure, but 
that's not really what I want.
