Hello Joris,

is this a fix, which could also be applied to an already installed
(i.e. binary) WinTeXmacs - maybe by patching any of its files?
Or would this only be possible by recompiling a changed source?

And an other question:
As written in my other posting, in the meantime I´ve found a way
to change Axioms TeX-output, so it now doesn´t replace the ´*´
by ´\ ´ any longer.
And so all products are displayed with ´*´ between the factors
in WinTeXmacs now - but:
If I select such an output in WinTeXmacs, copy and paste it into
the input line again, all those ´*´ characters have disappeared
again - and so of course Axiom won´t accept such an expression!
Is there any method to avoid this, i.e. that copy&paste would
exactly give the expression as displayed in WinTeXmacs?
Maybe there´s any option for this in WinTeXmacs?
Or should Axiom send any other character than ´*´ for multiplication?

And last but not least:
What´s the correct way to reply to any posting here?
If I ´Reply to sender´, then my answer isn´t displayed at all here
(probably it only sends an email to the sender?), and if I
´Reply to list´, then my reply is always shown as an answer
to my own first posting here, but not to the posting I wanted
to reply!

Really strange ... :-O

Regards,
Franz.
