I had no problem to update the page numbers correctly in your example
file using Document->Update all (TeXmacs v. 1.0.6.9). There is no
large file included in your example document, indeed. Could you
provide a *really* buggy example, in order to be able to test things
correctly ?

P.S. : I found the ideas of PML quite interesting. I'm waiting for
your paper about that being available ;-).
