No luck. I thought perhaps I had just missed it, but I tried what you
said, and there is definitely no "Part" menu beside the "Document"
menu on the top line. The options you mention are the ones I want, but
the menu doesn't seem to be there.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

   I am using 1.0.6.10 on Debian Sid. Things may be different on your side as
   you are using Ubuntu.
