Strange! I guess the syntax has changed.

Oops! My typo. It says 1.0.6; I typed 10.0.6. Ubuntu doesn't have a
time-travelling version of texmacs from decades in the future :-)

Might be worth trying that before compiling it yourself. Maybe you
should compile 1.0.6.10 before jumping to CVS? No point in
multiplying risks!

I had been compiling the CVS version myself, as I needed features
before they had been added even to the unstable version (though they
seem to be in the version distributed with ubuntu, which makes me
think perhaps that is already 1.0.6.10). Anyway, I thought I'd just go
ahead and do a "cvs update", which went fine, and then a ./configure,
which revealed a few things that had been "lost" during our recent
upgrade (but were easily fixed), and then a "make", which resulted in:

g++ -ISystem -ISystem/Boot -ISystem/Classes -ISystem/Files -ISystem/Link
-ISystem/Misc -IClasses/Abstract -IClasses/Atomic -IClasses/Compound
-IClasses/Mathematics -IData/Drd -IData/String -IData/Tree -IData/Convert
-IGuile -IResource -IWindow -ITypeset -ITypeset/Bridge -ITypeset/Concat
-ITypeset/Page -IEdit -IPlugins -ITexmacs -I/usr/include/freetype2 -Wall
-Wno-return-type -O3 -fexpensive-optimizations -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions -c
./Guile/Glue/glue_all.cpp -o Objects/glue_all.o
In file included from ./Guile/Glue/glue_all.cpp:1:
Guile/Glue/glue.cpp:21:25: error: Tmfs/tmfs.hpp: No such file or directory

I'm not at all sure where tmfs.hpp was supposed to come from.

Perhaps I'll try out a binary for 1.0.6.10.
