I think that the best way to put this kind of information in the
documentation
is as a question in the FAQ. It could be something like this:

"How can I create a multi-line cell in a table?

Use

        Table -> Width -> Paragraph

(for instance) to specify a width for the table and

        Cell -> Special properties -> Hyphenation -> Top

(for instance) to specify that the contents of a particular cell
should be wrapped. Hyphenation is now a property: you may make
all cells in a column or table hyphenatable."

I don't remember if the FAQ is part of the TeXmacs documentation, but it
should be easy to find using Google.
