Although I have done it on a eee pc 900 (bigger screen), I think it would work
also on a eee pc 700. The way i did it was starting synaptic, adding
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ as a packet source, did a search on texmacs
and installed texmacs, texmacs-common and texmacs-extra-fonts. As a extra
bonus I installed also axiom and both worked very well on my eee.
Very usefull to do some math writing in a pub
