In principle, the Makefile has the necessary code so that if you run 
"make BUNDLE", it extracts all the needed libraries from macports or 
Fink, changes their install_names and puts them in the bundle. I haven't 
tested whether this actually works as intended, but from what you 
report, that dmg does not contain the intended result.

For the Fink package, I will not follow this route, because I still 
believe in the idea of shared libraries (and, having had enough contact 
with Americans, I have a bad conscience distributing GPL-ed binary libs 
without being able to offer the corresponding sources).
