Using fink / macports is out of the question (the dependencies require that I waste diskspace on a tetex / texlive install when I have a perfectly good MacTeX install sitting on the disk).

You wouldn't be happy with Fink's version of cocoa texmacs ("texmacs-aqua") anyway. It is version 1.0.7.2, and while it doesn't crash immediately, it is so buggy that I wouldn't know where to begin describing the bugs. And it doesn't build on Snow Leopard.

Ok. I guess texmacs is not meant for Mac OSX users then.
