Hi everyone,

I am a very very beginner of TexMacs or emacs. I 
want to input superscript. According the tip on the menu, I should type 
in M-A-hat for superscript, and M-A-_ for subscript. I know how to type 
in M-A-_ (I press Esc first, then I hold Alt with Shift and -.) but I 
don't know what the "hat" means. I didn't find anything related in the 
achive. Your help would be highly appriciated. Thanks a lot.
