Dear Joris,
Thank you for your answer. Indeed, disabling the fast environments solves the
problem.
Please note that I used to have my definitions in the preamble, however,
there was a problem with export (of the macros) to latex (see a discussion on
the users or dev mailing list between me and Max (if I remember well)). The
export worked correctly if I had an in-file invisible macro definitions and
that's why I have switched (back) to using the in-file definitions.
