- Subject: [TeXmacs] Octave-plugin for 2 or 3 version
- Date: Tue, 20 Sep 2011 14:10:30 +0800
Hi,
Stable Octave version has been released from version 2 to version 3 (the
last one being 3.4.2) for a while. But the octave plugin in TeXmacs still
supports the old version 2. Compare to the plot functions between native
octave lib and TeXmacs octave plugin, we can find codes changed a lot; for
example: number of parameters in "__plt2vv__.m" had been changed and command
binding with gnuplot also changed.
At each installation, we have to replace all the directory in
"plugins/octave/octave" to make plotting function work.
Does TeXmacs has plan to support last Octave version? If yes, we will
feedback the modified plugin,
Best wishes
chu-ching
