Adrian

The keyboard is configured to spanish latinoamerican and can write accented letters without problem.  The dificulty I haven't solved is the use of different fonts that shows the diacritical accents.

Yesterday inspecting font_cache.scm I learned that the only fonts recognized are cm, ec, eo, rt, rp.  Therefore is right that TeXmacs does not show diacritical spanish letters.  I will check in other moment if character codes tables has something to do.

In setup.scm I saw that TeXmacs recognized maxima with the following statement '("maxima" . #t)' which I dont have installed.  This is a mistake.

A new problem is that some menus in spanish does not show correctly letters with diacritical marks.  I searched windows (XP) and found that the default fount for menus and message windows is Tahoma, and this font is latin1 compliant.

Does the ñ work when you set windows with a Spanish keyboard?

Peace.
