Using "par" as unit of measurement is very handy.

It must be fate that I didn't tried the "1par" mentioned in the manual...T--T...(I tried may others to to make the image displayed at its original size...)

About resizing image

Here is a very detailed answer by Joris van der Hoeven.

Personally I insert figure in this way:
-  First type \figure,  and type \image.
- Then we will have : <image| | | | | |>
-  Finally fill in the file name and the desired percent of textwidth for the figure. ( notice the "par" after 0.6 )
   <image| figure-file-name-here | 0.6par | | | |>

When edit the size of an image, you should add the unit of measurement. Did you it?
For example, write something like 6cm for the width and hit ENTER. Hope this help.
