Updating... I've fixed the issue of foreign symbols not being displayed correctly: I used gedit to convert it from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-15 and it worked perfectly. I also find out that the environment translations were also on that file, so you can ignore point 4. Thanks in advance and sorry for spamming this list. On 06-12-2014 16:21, Anderson Brasil

Another issue (this one is kind of serious): that procedure broke all my accents. For example, previously the environment "proposition" was correctly displayed as "proposição" in my documents. Now, all the foreign symbols are looking weird (look attached files). src/TeXmacs/langs/natural/dic.
Notice that you can also do the following to find
out what needs translating and translating it from
within TeXmacs:
1. Activate developer tools: Tools->Developer
tools
2. Set Texmacs interface language to portuguese
(Edit->Preferences)
3. Gather new strings for translation:
Developer->Rebuild translations file
4. Edit translations: Developer->Edit
translations file
5. Edit and save.
6. Reload: Developer->Force reloading of
translations
Please use savannah:
https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?func=additem&group=texmacs
And maybe post here so we all get a heads up.
Thanks for the work!
Best,
