downloaded:

TeXmacs-1.99.5-x11-i386-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz

to directory Downloads   in my homedirectory, unpackede with gui:

      producing directory TeXmacs-1.99.5-10549M-i386-pc-linux-gnu in Downloads ;

then

edited file ".profile"

so now PATH is

Downloads/TeXmacs-1.99.5-10549M-i386-pc-linux-gnu/bin:/home/fritz/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games

so

texmacs & should work but only responds with console message [1] xxxx (xxx: some number)

trying

just texmacs results in memory accsess fault and producing a coredump ( 'don't know where to that is written) .

Before Leap42.2 I had 13.1 installed and there TeXmacs-1.99.4-9895M-i386-pc-linux-gnu had no problems.

Would it function in Leap42.2 as well ???
