Thanks for your help. I am under ubuntu and chose to install the plugin in my home path. I changed to python3 in the init-python.scm file.
Thanks a lot for all the work
Marc

For Windows, I would only add that you should install TeXmacs in a directory that has no spaces around (Otherwise, python is not recognized). If, in addition, you want Maxima to be available for TeXmacs, you need to add the bin directory of maxima to the Windows environment path.Best wishes.-AOn Fri, Sep 20, 2019 at 10:03 AM marc lalaude-labayle <address@hidden> wrote:Hi,I have two different questions about python and texmacs :
- Within ubuntu (18.04 but the version doesn't really matter I think), how can one change the python's version used by default in texmacs ? Now, by default, i open a python 2.7.* version, which is annoying for my teaching.
- Within windows, how do you get python working within texmacs ? Since I don"t use windows at all, I do apologize if this question was already asked and answered.
Thanks a lotMarc
