Hi Joris,

I was unable to follow your suggestion (and the corresponding documentation in Help/Automatic Content Generation/Section 7) to my satisfaction.

I am attaching example files to illustrate my attempts:

I generated two TeXmacs (TM) files that use two .bib files as test cases. Extract all into a test directory, and it should all work.

two-bib-files.tm file uses two bibliography blocks each pointing to a separate .bib file. This captures all the citations, producing two bibliography sections with identical citations.

two-bib-files-with-alternat-bib.tm file uses the alternate bibliography mechanism. It also generates two bibliography sections. But none of them capture citations from one of the .bib files. Furthermore, I had to edit the .tm file to properly place the bibliography inside the `with-bib' tag (I was not able to do it inside TeXmacs).

I hope the comments inside the files illustrate what I am doing.

Hi Mirko,

Using 'Insert -> Link -> Alternate' you can specify alternate bibliographies,
indexes, glossaries, etc. if you wish to use multiple ones.  Each alternate
bibliography is identified using a short name that you chose.  You have
to use 'Insert -> Link -> Alternate' both for each citation and
for the bibliography itself.

Best wishes, --Joris
