Hi Richard,

I am not sure what you are expecting.

First of all, which style are you using?
I.e., what are the default settings of the interline and
interparagraph spaces that you are not happy with?

You can decrease both the interline and interparagraph spaces
inside Document -> Paragraph, but they cannot become negative.
I do not understand why you would like to have negative values,
because that means that text will typically overlap.

In the advanced paragraph settings, there is also
the minimal interline separation that you may wish to reduce to zero.
It is the minimal separation for the actual ink between lines.
