Hi!

Would you like to set up a plone-site like http://my.gnus.org ?

It is really nice.

To set up a new site is done in seconds, but it is painful to migrate
the content from the old site to the new one. Who wants to do that?

Perhaps we should promote, that it is possible to access
online-help via texmacs itself without a browser.

But generally I think it is not the website, which disturbs the user.

The main cause is that TeXmacs is perfect for mathematicians, but
lacks too many features for non-mathematicians.

I am publishing books written in LaTeX. I convert them to PDF and send
them to the printer who produces the book. Perfect.

When I am tired to do emacs/auctex/latex I can choose lyx which does
the same perfect job. But I cannot use TeXmacs, because there is no
TrueType support so that PDFs look ugly on screen.

The second drawback is: There are no good styles around. If you ever
used KOMA-SCRIPT in LaTex you know what I am missing with TeXmacs.

Then there are problems with the interface. Often I do not know where
I am. For instance I am currently writing a bilingual text with
texmacs. Main text is german, some quotes are in english. I had to
fiddle with the interface to change the language of the quotes to
english.

And preamble-mode is shock and awe to any ordinary user. If you can
use latex you can read html, but this kind of language behind texmacs
is so cryptic, that I cannot get into it.
