There is no specific keystroke for deleting words: we have a problem with
assigning short keystrokes to common operations, because there are much
more reasonable operations on structured text. But there will be some
careful thought about this issue at a certain point.
The best thing you can currently do is "C-space C-space" (select outmost
structure or current word) and then "backspace" or "delete".
Notice that "C-space C-space" is also useful for other things.
For instance, "C-space C-space F5" will emphasize the current word.
