I am the co-maintainer of texmacs package in Debian. The above info is
outdated. Currently the versions in Debian are

$rmadison texmacs
texmacs | 1:1.0.4-R3-5 | oldstable | source, alpha, arm, hppa, i386,
ia64, m68k, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
texmacs | 1:1.0.6-10 | etch-m68k | source, m68k
texmacs | 1:1.0.6-10 | stable | source, alpha, amd64, arm, hppa,
i386, ia64, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
texmacs | 1:1.0.6-11 | testing | source, alpha, amd64, arm, hppa,
i386, ia64, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
texmacs | 1:1.0.6-11 | unstable | hurd-i386, ia64
texmacs | 1:1.0.6.10-1 | unstable | source, alpha, amd64, arm, hppa,
i386, m68k, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc


As you can see you can get 1.0.6.10 on i386 architecture from unstable
version of debian.
