BTW, it should be http://packages.debian.org/testing/editors/texmacs (there
is no .html at the end.

I suggest you use texmacs 1.0.6.15 from unstable repository instead of
1.0.6.14 as it seems to fix
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=496355 .

I am a bit busy for another couple of weeks. I will try to package texmacs
1.0.7 for Debian. I am thinking of enabling the qt port by default so that
it gets tested extensively. Most likely I will upload it to the
experimental branch rather than the unstable branch. May be then you can
install it from the Debian repositories.

I do not have access to a Ubuntu machine. So I can't make packages for
Ubuntu as such. Sorry about that!
