HI,

i'm a lazy guy. So i went to the official debian experimental package
list concerning editors :
http://packages.debian.org/experimental/editors/

Then to the texmacs and common-texmacs packages list.

I donwloaded them on my desktop using the first link (i think it's a US
based repository).

Then, i opened the common-texmacs package with gdebi (double-click does
the trick).

It told me there was a broken package : of course it's the
"old" (understand official) package. I had to remove it and then i could
install the texmacs 1.0.7 package.
Actually, the best is to desinstall the old texmacs packages befor
installing the new ones.
Hope it helps you

regards

MArc
