thank you again for your answer.

ibus is not installed on my system, maybe because I chose lxdm as window manager.

I installed ibus since it seems to make the interface with qt, which is involved in the problem. Nothing changed.

activated by default. Moreover, in the version of the live cd I ran, Ibus was
set with English input method, even though I had asked the live cd to use
French settings. Could that also be the cause of your problem? In that case,
either configure Ibus with French input method, or remove it altogether if you
do not plan to use it.
