But now the line width is fixed to what you specify, which presents a problem
when you make the window narrower. Also, the document is not centered.

With a “maximum width” parameter, word wapping may or may not occur at the
window edge depending on whether the window width is greater than the maximum
width. When the window width is greater, the line width is set to the maximum
width and the document is centered.
