Since Joris changelog did let me think he may have fixed the bug, I
have (wrongly) assumed it would show up in 1.0.0.17. But it did not
:-)

I *can* reproduce the bug with 1.0.0.16, yet not with 1.0.0.17.

So users have their quick fix, just upgrade to the latest release, and
I have my reproducible bug, so I will try to track down the problem.
