Answer to 4)
From my experience so far, you don't need any graphic editor in
Texmacs at all. All you need to do, finish any graphic figure in any
windows graphics tools such as Viso, Excel, then paste them in the MS
paint, then save as Tiff or Png format. finally insert it in Texmacs.
Question 3) I have the same experience, each time I was told to
install Czech meta font. then download, ane makefm failed. Can
developer tell us what goes wrong here/
