First thing: hyphenation is disabled by putting a "group" tag around
a piece of text.
Second thing: if you have many inline formulas which break badly,
then you probably should consider using displayed formulas more often.
You may use C-tab to switch between the two.
Third thing: you may write a macro for non-breakable inline mathematics.
However, there is no global option so as to modify the default behaviour.
