Because I'm planning to upgrade my distro, which is quite old, I have thought 
that it was a better solution to downgrade TeXmacs to 1.0.6.3 until I upgrade 
the distro. But, I have found that I get the same error with TeXmacs 1.0.6.3 
now :-(

I'm afraid that I'll wait to compile TeXmacs until I upgrade my box.
