Using texmacs 1.0.6.14, Debian Sid.

When I start texmacs and right click in the text area, a menu pops
up (File, Edit, Insert etc.,). But clicking on an entry in these
menus does not go down to the sub menus.

Can anyone reproduce this on non-Debian systems? That would at least
tell me if it is a distro specific issue or texmacs' issue.

I see this on Linux From Scratch (everything built from source). It
works fine if I press the right button and drag it over the menu.
However, if I click the right button the menu pops up but it does
nothing when I click it again. All I can do is move the mouse off the
menu to disappear it and try again.

This is with TeXmacs CVS as of today.

OK, if it is what you mean, then I also
observe the same behaviour.

If I click the right button of the mouse
and then release the right button, then
it is impossible to unfold any submenu
by means of clicking a button of the
mouse.

But if I maintain the right button pressed
to unfold a submenu, once a submenu has
been unfolded, then the usual (i.e., the
expected) behaviour is back.
