Hi there,

I need help urgently to get an idea how to make glossary in texmacs. If you get experiences, please send me some simple sample file.

Best regards

Jack
It's in the manual under Links and Automatically generated content.  It's like making an Index.

And no, I'm not going to give you an example that would expose my own situation.

Regards.

Come, now: there is no need to be snippy.  If you don't want to share your documents, no one is asking you to do so.  Indeed, if they are large, they might be more confusing than helpful.  Jack asked for "some simple sample file", not trade secrets.  If you do not have the time or inclination to make up an example like the one I have attached, then a reference to specific documentation is all that is necessary.

I am glad you mentioned that manual entry, because I had never tried to create a glossary, and it was interesting to try.  Thank you for that.

Rob

Hello,
Great thanks to Rob.
I've notice a glossary is like an index... not sorted.
But, is there actually no way to sort a glossary ? :-)
Because, I use a glossary to explain some acronyms (\glossary-explain) but I would like to sort them to make easy their access...
