Hi,

following the workshop about texmacs, questions now arise in my mailbox.

Of course, all the teachers who did attend this workshop used windows
(except for one using Mac Os) and they try toinstall cygtexmacs.

When i did install it, i installed before miktex in order to get other
fonts. Then i installed cygtexmacs in C:/cygtexmacs.

1°) I couldn't get any other fonts, except roman. Did i have to do
something else ?

2°) Installing cygtexmacs in prgram files doesn't seem to work. Is it
specific to my windows installation ?

3°) With cygtexmacs, will they be able to insert images, to draw
curves ... without any other package ?

4°) i installed maxima where it has to be by default, but cygtexmacs
doesn't recognize it. Any help ?

I was happy to see that cygtexmacs was fast under windows

I am a linux user, and i saw that texmacs under mac os runs well too.

But, for mostly, a windows version of texmacs easy to use with all
necessary inside would be great. I only suggest.

I'll show texmacs in a few days to my colleagues inside my highschool
(which is pretty big) and i'll animate another workshop for future
teachers (in IUFM for the ones who know the french system) to help them
choose to choose a good scientific editor : understand TeXmacs.

So, any help, is greatly appreciated.

Best regards

Marc Lalaude
