Hi all,

I attach a simple shell script which downloads and installs Texmacs 1.0.7 from source code. If you already have Texmacs, it will be removed and replaced with the new one. I have tested it on Ubuntu 8.04 and it works for me but I offer no guarantees!

Save the attached file "setup-texmacs.sh" to your home directory then open a terminal window and type the following commands:

chmod +x setup-texmacs.sh
./setup-texmacs.sh
