Hello Jayakrishna,

Have you tried putting a `;' between each line?
x = 1;
y = 2

The last statement should not need the `;'.

Also, you don't have to enter multiline mode through the menu. You can use Shift+Return to start a new line, then Return to send. But either way should work.

hiii...

I have been using the texmacs since one and half month. The features of it are being outstanding.

But i have struck up at some point where in multiline input, texmacs treats newline as a space rather than a newline.

For instance

In octave session if i give the following input

octave> a=1
               b=2
.......

Texmacs treating it as    a=1 b=2

instead    a=1
                b=2

Can you help me regarding this
