Hi,
With sage image integration works fine :
just plot(sin(x),figsize=(4,3)) and a nice smal graph in embeded...
I would like the same with maxima ?
i can't get it working ? why ? gnuplot does work too... But i thaught
that
maxima use gnuplot do display graphs ?
I forget with sage using show(p) doesn't work either (but doesn't
matter i do change show by plot.
Any help ?
kind regards,
Henro
I need this image integration because I want to make tutorial for
newbies in sage and maxima integration.
I think it's more pedagogic to show an image of an explanation (anyway
it's the case for me I am not a mathematician though i like maths) and
often i don't understand something but if i see an image showing it then
i understand more easier.
I am not a programmer either, maybe that's why i don't understand why
sage integrate image and not maxima ?
If I want to get the image back i must start gimp transform it in a
format texmacs knows what a lot manipulation when doing things I don't
even master !
Maybe I don't know texmacs well enaugh but texmacs can't copy and coller
from the extern window ?
At least that would be easier.
kind regards
Henri
