Without loading tmprint, the interface clearly will not work. In the directory containing all packages I have

grozin@dns ~/reduce/packages $ ls
LICENSE atensor/ cgb/ factor/ hephys/ lpdo/ normform/ pm/ redfront/ roots/ specfn/ tps/ xideal/
alg/ avector/ clprl/ fide/ int/ mathml/ numeric/ poly/ redlog/ rprint/ sum/ tri/ ztrans/
algint/ bibasis/ crack/ gcref/ invbase/ mathpr/ odesolve/ profile/ reduce4/ rtrace/ support/ trigint/
arith/ breduce/ defint/ gentran/ laplace/ matrix/ orthovec/ qsum/ regressions/ scope/ susy2/ trigsimp/
arnum/ cali/ dipoly/ geometry/ lessons/ misc/ package.map rataprx/ residue/ solve/ symmetry/ utf8/
assert/ camal/ eds/ groebner/ libreduce/ mrvlimit/ pgauss/ ratint/ rlisp/ sparse/ taylor/ wu/
assist/ cdiff/ excalc/ guardian/ linalg/ ncpoly/ plot/ rd/ rlisp88/ spde/ tmprint/ xcolor/

grozin@dns ~/reduce/packages $ ls tmprint
tmprint.red

The file package.map in this directory contains the line

(tmprint "tmprint" csl psl)

If this is not the case for you, there is a problem with your reduce. I check the source out of svn, do some small adjustments and compile it; don't know about reduce packages.

Andrey
Everything is the same on my system as above. However, there is a problem when I run reduce independent of texmacs.

When doing a calculation needing the hephys package, reduce responds with not being able to find "hephys" package. I have to load it manually, as in "/usr/local/reduce/reduce-algebra/packages/hephys/hephys.red"$. This is not how reduce has worked in the past. So perhaps therein lies the problem. I will post to the reduce forum seeking an answer.

By the way, I compiled the latest reduce via svn.
Thanks,

Dick
